LA CROIX DE BEAUCAILLOU 2014 (From Bordeaux)
HK $ 528.00 HK $ 528.00 528.0 HKD
Tasting Notes :
The 2014 La Croix de Beaucaillou has enjoyed a purple patch in recent vintages. The nose on the 2014 appeared to have closed down after bottling, but the quality is still tangible, almost sedate, but exquisitely defined tertiary red berry fruit gradually opens in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, crisp and energetic, very focused with superb mineralité. There is just a mote of hardness and rigidity on the finish, but that will be abraded by bottle age (and this is one Deuxième Vin that benefits from bottle maturity). (Neal Martin)
LA CROIX DE BEAUCAILLOU 2015 (From Bordeaux)
HK $ 528.00 HK $ 528.00 528.0 HKD
Tasting Notes :
The 2015 La Croix de Beaucaillou is a blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot. It has a floral note on the nose: small black cherries, blueberry and wilted violets, the last becoming more intense as the initially tight-fisted wine opens in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannin. There is very well-judged acidity and its texture is harmonious and silky smooth. The quality is loaded more in the mouth than on the nose at the moment, but it is a seriously classy "deuxième vin" that just needs a little more persistence on the finish. (Neal Martin)

Medium to full-bodied, the palate is lively and earthy with firm, grainy tannins, finishing long and mineral-laced. (Lisa Perrotti-Brown)

HK $ 558.00 HK $ 558.00 558.0 HKD
Tasting Notes :
The 2005 La Dame de Montrose is a gorgeous second wine. Dark ruby/purple, with sweet black cherry and blackcurrant fruit, soft tannins, and a round, generous, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, it is an excellent, soft wine to drink over the next 15 or so years. (Robert M. Parker, Jr.)
LA DAME DE MONTROSE 2007 (From Bordeaux)
HK $ 368.00 HK $ 368.00 368.0 HKD
Tasting Notes :
The soft, round, generously-endowed, delicious 2007 La Dame De Montrose is very much in keeping with its bigger sister. It should drink well over the next 5-8 years. (Robert M. Parker, Jr.)
LA DAME DE MONTROSE 2008 (From Bordeaux)
HK $ 738.00 HK $ 738.00 738.0 HKD

More classic with noticeable tannins and higher acidity, this medium-bodied, elegant effort offers notes of earthy, loamy soil intermixed with black and red currant fruit. Drink this medium-bodied 2008 over the next 7-8 years. (Robert M. Parker, Jr.)
LA DAME DE MONTROSE 2011 (From Bordeaux)
HK $ 288.00 HK $ 288.00 288.0 HKD
Tasting Notes :
One of this appellation’s finest second wines, the 2011 La Dame de Montrose offers attractive black cherry and black currant fruit, soft tannins, medium body and a silky personality. While it lacks concentration, it makes up for it with its charm and forward appeal. Drink it over the next 7-8 years. (Robert M. Parker, Jr.)
LA DAME DE MONTROSE 2012 (From Bordeaux)
HK $ 368.00 HK $ 368.00 368.0 HKD
Tasting Notes :
Earthy and tannic, but concentrated with firm structure, the 2012 La Dame de Montrose has a distinct spicy, earthy character and some tannins to shed, which is unusual for a second wine. It is nicely concentrated with a dense ruby/purple color, and overall it is well-made. Give it several years of bottle age and drink it over the following 15 or more years, as this will be an uncommonly long-lived second wine from this famous Médoc château. (Robert M. Parker, Jr.)
LA DAME DE MONTROSE 2013 (From Bordeaux)
HK $ 248.00 HK $ 248.00 248.0 HKD
Tasting Notes :
The 2013 La Dame de Montrose has a light, fleshy strawberry and Morello-scented nose thanks to the high percentage of Merlot (69%). The palate is nicely balanced, perhaps "skinny" in the context of other vintages, but the acidity imparts decent tension and there is a dash of spice on the aftertaste that livens things up. Don't expect too much and you'll be able to enjoy this over the next 5 or 6 years. (Neal Martin)

Medium-bodied, firm and with a good core of earth-laced black fruits, it finishes with good length. (Lisa Perrotti-Brown)

LA LAGUNE 2012 (From Bordeaux)
HK $ 648.00 HK $ 648.00 648.0 HKD
Tasting Notes :
This property has been making excellent wines under the administration of Caroline Frey, and 2012 continues their recent success. With a deep ruby/purple color, notes of new saddle leather, graphite, blackcurrants and black cherries, a supple texture, medium to full body and beautiful purity, this is an outstanding 2012 to drink over the next 20 years. In general, the blend tends to be approximately 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and the balance 25% Merlot followed by 15% Petit Verdot. (Robert M. Parker, Jr.)
LA LAGUNE 2014 (From Bordeaux)
HK $ 368.00 HK $ 368.00 368.0 HKD
Tasting Notes :
The 2014 La Lagune is a wine that showed extremely well when I tasted it from barrel. Now in bottle, it has a very well defined, quite intense bouquet with blackberry, cedar and pencil box aromas—classic in style, demonstrating impressive breeding. The palate is very well balanced with fine tannin, bright and vivacious black fruit laced with graphite, fine mineralité and it fans out wonderfully on the Pauillac-like finish. You know, I suspect this might even surpass the 2015 La Lagune... let's see. This is excellent. (Neal Martin)

LA MISSION HAUT BRION 2000 (From Bordeaux)
HK $ 82,656.00 HK $ 82,656.00 82656.0 HKD
Tasting Notes :
One of the wines of the vintage, the 2000 has barely budged in its evolution since it was bottled and released in 2002. After ten years in bottle, it still reveals a dense opaque purple color along with a potentially sensational bouquet of blueberries, black currants, graphite, asphalt and background oak. Extremely powerful, full-bodied and superbly concentrated with good acidity and high but round tannins, this massive La Mission-Haut-Brion should take its place among this estate’s most hallowed vintages when it hits full maturity in another one to two decades. I was surprised by just how youthful this wine tasted at age 12. If tasted blind, I would have guessed it to be around 4 to 5 years old. Anticipated maturity: 2020-2050. (Robert M. Parker, Jr.)
LA MISSION HAUT BRION 2005 (From Bordeaux)
HK $ 4,888.00 HK $ 4,888.00 4888.0 HKD
Tasting Notes :
The 2005 La Mission Haut-Brion is pure perfection. It has an absolutely extraordinary nose of sweet blackberries, cassis and spring flowers with some underlying minerality, a full-bodied mouthfeel, gorgeously velvety tannins (which is unusual in this vintage) and a long, textured, multi-layered finish that must last 50+ seconds. This is a fabulous wine and a great effort from this hallowed terroir. Drink this modern-day legend over the next 30+ years. Only 5,500 cases were produced of this blend of 69% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Cabernet Franc. (Robert M. Parker, Jr.)
LA MISSION HAUT BRION 2007 (From Bordeaux)
HK $ 1,928.00 HK $ 1,928.00 1928.0 HKD
Tasting Notes :
Tasted at BI Wine & Spirits' 10-Years-On tasting, the 2007 La Mission Haut Brion should be considered as one of the wines of the vintage, perhaps even outclassing the gaff across the road! It has an ebullient bouquet with vivid dark berry, cold, warm gravel and undergrowth scents that are very complex and beautifully defined. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannin, crisp acidity and a very precise structure, with superb tension on the finish. If you are seeking a 2007 Bordeaux, then this would undoubtedly be one of my picks. Tasted February 2017. (Neal Martin)

The deep garnet colored 2009 La Mission Haut-Brion absolutely sings of warm red and black currants, chocolate-covered cherries, liquid licorice, sassafras and espresso with hint of lilacs, pencil shavings and truffles.
